The Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RSS) Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, DCP. Tunji Disu has apprehended two police patrol vans breaking traffic rules in Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.

The commander disclosed this on a social media platform, Twitter, on Saturday, November 2.

He stated that the officers involved have been arrested, adding that the vehicles have been kept at the Idimu Police Station.

Driving against traffic, they have been arrested, vehicles kept at Idimu Police Station,” Disu said while sharing a photo of the arrested patrol vehicle.

He explained that the personnel in the patrol vehicles who are law enforcement officers should know better than disobeying traffic laws, which they are meant to enforce.

He added that the officers will be charged to court respectively today for the offence committed.
