Rotary club leaders donating the materials

to provide desks and tables for 45 pupils

The Rotary Club of Akowonjo has donated beds, mosquito nets and some other medical consumables to Bola Tinubu Primary Health Centre, Akowonjo.

The donation was made during a recent visit by the Rotary District Governor, Mr. Jide Akerelolu.

The President of Akowonjo, Mr. Musa AbdulKareem, also announced the donation of flower vases to add to the beauty of the primary health centre.

AbdulKareem also said the club would provide desks and tables for 45 pupils in the ongoing project in Rauf Aregbesola Primary School.

Reacting, the Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, lauded the donation.

Sulaimon, who was represented by his Vice Chairman, Hon. Francis Adebisi, said, “We appreciate the effort of the Rotary Club and we wish other clubs can emulate them.”
