The Egbe-Idimu local council development area has appealed to residents to bear with it on the temporary inconvenience caused by road repairs in the area.

The Media Aide to the Executive Chairman, Comrade Olakunle Oyejobi, made the appeal in a post on social media site, Facebook, on Saturday, October 26.

He stated this while giving updates on the state of repair works on roads and other public infrastructure in the area.

Oyejobi stated, “In quest of the Numero Uno of Egbe Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowooopejo (KSO)’s passion for his people, Isheri Olofin Roundabout is now experiencing a new look so as to make movement an easy one for commuters.

“The laying of the asphalt commenced today and all the affected portions will be fixed in few days’ time.”

The spokesman to the council boss apologised for the inconvenience caused to motorists and other commuters.

“We humbly apologise for the temporary inconvenience you may experience; do bear with us as we are already on course to bring permanent solution,” he said.

He added that the laying of asphalt and road repairs at Isheri Olofin Roundabout will continue towards the development of the area.
