The Chairman, Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo has embarked on inspection tour of Babatunde Okunuga Street, Off Solomon Durodola, Unity Estate, Abule Odu, where a road project is ongoing.

According to a statement by his spokesman, Olakunle Oyejobi, the council boss visited the project site with his team on Friday to assess the level of work done.

Olowoopejo was quoted as saying that the construction of Babatunde Okunuga Street, which is an alternate route to Egbeda from Car Wash bus-stop, will ease traffic congestion in the axis and enable commuters get to their various destinations promptly.

Residents say that the project will also boost socio-economic activities in the area.

The council boss disclosed that the construction would also get to Solomon Durodola and will be delivered in few days time.

He encouraged residents to pay all relevant levies to enable his administration continue to deliver dividends of democracy at the grassroots.
