The Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, has applauded the Progressive Estate Community Development Association (CDA) for their victory in the just-concluded Community Day celebration in Lagos.

He gave the commendation on Thursday, November 28, when representatives of the CDA, which won the award for best performing CDA in the state, paid him a courtesy visit.

Olowoopejo thanked the entire executives and members of the CDA for making the LCDA proud, while assuring them of the government’s continuous support whenever the need arises.

“I’m proud of you all, keep the flag flying and we won’t also let you down,” he said.

The CDA Chairman, Alhaji Tunde Bakare, lauded the efforts of the council boss in providing an enabling environment for the association.

He disclosed that the immense support of the chairman birthed the achievement.

The council boss, in a bid to show appreciation for the honour, informed the gathering of the administrations readiness to fix one of their roads with full tarring.

He added that the association was expected to submit any road of their choice.
