The Children Ministry of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Egbeda Region has rewarded some children that have contributed towards the growth of the ministry and themselves.
According to a statement sent to Our Community, the children were rewarded with book gifts at a ceremony held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 for their contributions from January to December.
This newspaper can report that the ceremony was coordinated by the Regional Overseer, Pastor Emmanuel William and Leader of the Children Ministry, Bro Kolawole Makinde (a.k.a Baba Children).
“These kids did not only add value to the ministry but to themselves as well,” he said.
“As the main objective of the children ministry is to ‘build champions for God’, some of these kids were promoted to the teenage ministry on that same day, because they’ve been trained to meet the core values of the teenage ministry.”
Makinde encouraged all children teachers under the region to put in their very best for the betterment of the children in the ministry at large.
President of Christian educational firm, Ordinarydust, Mr. A. Jakes expressed his organisation’s readiness to partner the church to improve the spiritual and educational lives of children in the ministry.
He affirmed that these kids were indeed conversant with biblical books, chapters and verses, know the scriptural sections of the Bible, recognise the testaments’ features, understand the essence of listening to sermons, and embrace the importance of always coming to church with a Bible.
Jakes vowed to help develop the children’s confidence, presentation, mental curiosity, and cognitive skills, positively shaping their attitudes for life as well as enabling them stay active academically.
He added that these would be achieved through all of Ordinarydust’s kids/teens qualitative and competitively interactive contests scheduled for the region in 2020.
