The Lagos State Government has met with stakeholders to discuss the planned relocation of the Computer Village from Ikeja to Katangowa in Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA to get their commitment to the project.

The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako made this known on Monday, December 23.

He stated that the relocation process began with the exchange of vital information with stakeholders in order to engender the successful commencement of the landscape transforming project at the new location.

Salako explained that the present administration has displayed its commitment to providing modern infrastructure to enhance the business of Computer Village traders as well as residents of Agbado Oke-Odo community.

He disclosed that agents of government would visit the location for necessary assessments of property that will be affected, serve notices and carry out other responsibilities relevant to the project.

The commissioner enjoined all the stakeholders to support the government’s drive for the development of the axis by giving maximum cooperation.
