Pan-African youth organisation, Involve Africa has commended the Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Dr. Augustine Adeoye for his commitment to social accountability in the local government.

The commendation came when the group held an advocacy session with the chairman on Wednesday, November 20.

Discussions from the session bothered on issues of financial mismanagement and project abandonment of the construction of Temidire Primary School, which is funded by tax paid in the LCDA.

They added that their efforts had alerted relevant elements who were against quality education in the area.

“We believe today’s effort has alerted relevant elements who are against quality education and financial accountability on the project in focus.

“We are watching and we shall return shortly,” the group said.
