The Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams has commenced the distribution of free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to 500 students across the seven wards.

The Head of Media to the Chairman, Comrade Oseni, made this known on Sunday, January 12.

Williams urged the beneficiaries to study hard and make use of the opportunity given to them judiciously in the forthcoming examinations.

She further appealed to the students to desist from any form of social vices but rather focus on their academics which will take them to greater heights.

“Education is the bedrock of any nation to grow and that is what prompted me to extend these forms to you,” Williams said.

The beneficiaries and their parents appreciated the chairman for the privilege given to students in the community.

“I came to collect the form because of the financial constraints of my parents. I appreciate her for the great privilege given to the students in this community”, a beneficiary, Faith Enudeme, said.
