The Chairman, Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo on Friday distributed free meals to residents of Bolorunpelu in Egbe area of the council.

According to a statement by his media aide, Olakunle Oyejobi, the gesture was in continuation of the council chairman’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of residents during the lockdown imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Lagos.

“Egbe Idimu LCDA Kitchen was in Bolorunpelu Egbe this morning to distribute daily free meal to residents to cushion the effects of the current lockdown.

“This evening by God’s grace, we will be in Arida to feed the residents of Arida.

“May the Lord Almighty heal our land,” the statement read in part.

Oyejobi, who quoted Olowoopejo as advising residents to stay home and safe, also shared photos of the exercise.
