Alimosho local government has sealed a partnership with South American nation, Venezuela to enhance education of special-needs people in the council.
According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the chairman, Jamiu Ayinde, the discussion was made during a visit of the Chairman, Hon. Jelili Suliamon, to the Ambassador of Venezuela, David Caraballo, in Abuja.
The partnership is expected to support the local government in the area of providing schools for people with special needs, 21st century equipment, health and environment.
Sulaimon said, “We want to partner with Venezuela in the area of health, education, business and environment.
“It is our desire to take our community to the next level in this area.”
Reacting, the Venezuelan ambassador concurred with the Chairman and expressed his willingness and that of his country to help Alimosho grow.
It will be recalled that the Venezuela Ambassador was recently hosted by Alimosho local government alongside the ambassador of Cuba.
