The Chairman, Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, has empowered residents in the area with N3 million.

The Media Adviser to the Chairman, Mr. Ayinde Jamiu Kunle, made this known on Tuesday, December 17.

In his speech, Sulaimon stated that the beneficiaries promised to use the support purely for business.

He added that a supervisor had been appointed to monitor the use of the “business support”.

One of the beneficiaries, who appreciated the chairman for his support, stated that the support came at the right time.

“I usually request for interest loans to stabilise my business. I am due for another loan this December and this support came at the right time as I will become free from interest loan,” she said.

Over 80 people were empowered to either start a new business or upgrade their existing businesses.
