Alimosho local government has kick-started Meningitis-A vaccination for children between ages nine and 15 months.
The event which took place today at Bola Tinubu Primary Health Centre was attended by the local government medical officers, nursing mothers, and stakeholders in the local government amongst others.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Alimosho LG, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, said that mothers in the community should take advantage of the opportunity to vaccinate their children against meningitis.
Sulaimon, who was represented by the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Rasheed Abolade, said, “It is important that all mothers within the local government present their babies for vaccination to prevent Meningitis.”
