Two schools in Alimosho under District 1 of the Lagos State Ministry of Education have benefitted from the Academic Excellence Initiative (AEI) annual book donation.

This was made known during the donation ceremony held in Agege on Wednesday, November 20.

The beneficiaries, State Senior High School and State Senior College in Alimosho, received past questions in  English and Mathematics, as well as exercise books for the academic advancement of students.

Project Coordinator of AEI, Mr. Adesegun Ogunbayi, stated that the annual programme was one of the NGO’s contributions towards the development of education in the state.

The District Tutor-General, Mrs Margaret Solarin, lauded the effort of the AEI while stating that the government was ready to partner with them in advancing education in the state.

She stressed the role of past questions in preparing students for various examinations.

The donation was attended by principals, benefitting schools and district officials.
